Lakeside Bees is set in an area of outstanding beauty, nestled away in beautiful Stubbins, Ramsbottom.

Travel off the beaten track, to our secluded site, and visit our apiary, where we have between 10 and 20 hives, depending on the time of year. Either way, there’s always a hive of activity going on!

Beekeeper Dave is always ready to welcome you, whether you just want to pop in for a jar of delicious natural honey or stay around for a two-day course as you learn the skills needed to be a fully fledged beekeeper.

Enjoy your surroundings as you share your environment with a wide range of wild animals such as deer, badgers, and foxes as they live among the wooded trails and Himalayan Balsam.

Rest by the teardrop lake, explore the streams and waterfalls and of course, enjoy the bees.
